Any other favorite fruiting plants or trees that you have? I’m not as familiar with the best varieties down in Texas. Just have blackberry, mulberry, elderberry so far.
Well we planted a few Texas persimmon trees this past fall, and they all look like they are putting buds on now. Dont know yet how long it'll take for them to fruit. We do have some red mulberry trees that put on alot of fruit too. As far as fruit, thats about it, except we do have tons of dewberry bushes that grow wild, and we have harvested lots of berries from those.
