Remember back when McConnell excused his unwillingness to impeach Trump by stating that if crimes were committed there were recourses within the criminal justice system.

“We have a criminal justice system in this country. We have civil litigation. And former Presidents are not immune from being held accountable by either one,” McConnell said.

Now, of course, he’s singing a different tune.
