Not a pro myself but I went from the t7i to a 7d mark II to get a semi pro line. It’s older but exceptional hardware and many reviews will tell you so. I went ahead and bought an r5 but not real sure why. I still love my mark II to be honest. You either have to use an adaptor for your lenses on mirrorless which I never liked or buy rf lenses now which I’m working on doing slowly. Maybe read up on it. Take care.
