Very expensive

We definitely need more of these old style cars though. I propose that we roll back auto tech to the 1960's (before we left the gold standard), and then re-progress on the Bitcoin Standard.

Regulations are a huge part of the issue too. You *CAN'T* go back without rolling back a lot of regulatory tape. There is a modern pickup truck sold in India that is just a pickup, almost no digitization, no bells and whistles.

It is illegal to sell or import it into the US.

Make Cars Great Again. This mainly means making cars cars again, instead of computerized surveillance boxes on wheels.

not really:

I want a car that does not have all the fancy features, no wifi, no 2g, no bluetooth, no GPS... A big roomy drivable box that doesnt fail me. Is that too much to ask?

Something like this, but not as old.... Dont want to spend the rest of my life replacing car parts... Althoug thinking about it, the thought is kind of romantic...

90’s Suzuki Jimny. Compact, tough as fuck, go anywhere (especially with a lift kit), manual transmission… mini beast!
