Usually fish + peanut butter. Got this one with chicken + peanut butter.
that’s a spy rate of 3.
Generally skunks are a benefit to pest control efforts. The raccoons are a far bigger threat to our chickens. What are you protecting from the skunks?
My chickens. But yes, the raccoons are the ones who massacred all my chickens in one night.
I leave the skunks and opossum alone, but the raccoons, they have to go.
I'll have to read up more on that, skunks definitely seem like a threat around here but it would be a shame if I were damaging the ecosystem
My experience is that skunks primarily feed on rodents, they will certainly capitalize on any eggs nested near or on the ground though. When the dogs catch them out and about at night those scent glands….whew!
