Any large, complex, and changing system should have some sort of version control, especially when there are multiple people working on it. It’s insane that there can be massive changes to a system and I have absolutely no idea that they’ve happened, the scope of the changes, when they were made, and why.

I’m talking about having version control for large configs, not controlling people.

Version control shouldn’t just be limited to code. Maybe not quite Git but something like that would be amazing.

Btw I’m pretty certain Mises was the first to talk about the knowledge required to centrally the plan a society, Hayek presented a more toned back version of Mises ideas.
