So you're basically saying if the police makes a claim it should be taken as fact without questioning. If someone else makes a claim we should question it? That's interesting.
The Police didn’t make a claim. Someone posted an edited clip to make them look bad. They can choose how they wish to respond. They also have to consider the ongoing investigation, and the likelihood that more footage could attract more petty criticism.
Some people think that cops are robots simply out to exert authority. They’re just people like you and me doing a job that want to go home to their family and sometimes don’t handle a situation perfectly. I believe they can do better, but I don’t accept they are out to oppress.
