Woke up, just checked it, sounded ok on my Mac on Ableton, published it. Listened to it on my Mac on Wavlake, sounded slightly different, listened to it on my phone speakers, different again. It's hard to find the right balance. Unpublished😂🥳. Will revisit this afternoon. I've also thought of a few additional tweeks I'd like to try😬.

That was my big mistake at first. Gonna listen to it on everything. Sounds so different everywhere. Phone speaker and small headphones especially. That’s where a lot of people will listen 🥴
You probably have a very good set of headphones, like I do. It's what I use to mix my tunes on. They sound great, then when I play it elsewhere, I'm like, OH NO😳😂.
Do they have a flat eq? They probably do I imagine
Yep.
I have a friend who produces on Ableton. He uses expensive noise cancelling headphones to produce. That bass boost though, overestimating his bass everytime 💀💀💀
I've actually got 3 sets of decent headphones. 2 are pre-programmed with a (Presumably) neutral EQ but I can't be sure. I also have the wireless Sony WH1000MX, for when I'm out and about, they do have a programmable EQ and I always have it set to neutral. I might give them a whirl while mixing.
Audio Technica ATH-M30x for producing. For casual listening, different sets of noise cancelling. I also have speakers for producing but I use them less

These are my mixing headphones.
If you read exactly what they're for, they should be perfect, and they are. If other people are listening on shit speakers, it's their speakers, not my music😬😂.
I know you’re joking on that last sentence but that’s a terrible way of looking at it 😂
Reality is most will use shitty headphones or noise cancelling with bass boost pre built in it.
But totally agree that if you want to mix a track properly you need professional monitor headphones (or speakers). Interesting enough they usually cost less than the consumer ones 😂
Completely scrapped previous track. Blank slate🥳.
Perfect is the enemy of good. I was curious about that one 😂
I understand removing errors but the perfect track doesn’t exist
I've still got it saved as a .wav if you'd like to hear it??
Yes I would.
That synth sound 🤌🏾

I also have these in my boxroom studio but never ever use them. They're FAR too powerful. You could use them at a fucking warehouse party😂😂. Interestingly, the cones are made of kevlar, so they are literally bulletproof too🥳.
