Last week I took my kid to the San Diego zoo and Legoland. Something hit my windshield and cracked it. Getting it replaced today. Came outside to leave and my car battery was dead and needed a jumper. Battery wasn’t even 2 years old. What a day. Lots of #nostr time while waiting 🤙

Which did you prefer, zoo or Legoland? Balboa park is nice

I personally enjoy the zoo more. Kid prefers Legoland more 😆

Ive had the same problem with the oddysey minivan. The electric sliding door latch drains the battery at avout 1/3 amp continuously when it malfunctions. You dont notice it until the car sits for several days, but then when the battery is weak itll die within 24 hours. A bunch of wd40 and exercising the mechanism a few hundred times seems to have loosened whatever grease made it stuck. Its advisable to replace the mechanism.

I traced the problem by pulling fuses and watching the current on the battery (all dome and door lights off), it turned out to be on the "backup" circuit, and found online discussion about the latches.
