What does "Fork" mean in the latest amethyst update?

Basically just means I can take your note, edit it, and propose the edit/update to you, at which point you can accept the change and have your original note updated. It's a nod to terminology used in development/coding, where a user can fork someone's code (make their own copy), edit it, then propose the owner of the original code merges those changes back into the original code base
