I hope you’re wrong too. The US needs to get its own shit together before continuing to tell other countries what to do.

I wish that was the case. Although, I have a dire view of the impact of the US for at least the past 5 years.

It's a modern empire falling. Yet, they are doing everything they can to exploit the money printing business and war while they can, to secure any sort of leverage in the future.
