The tl;dr of it would be that some Twitter developers had left a long time ago - even before Musk even as much as looked at it - and created an alternative protocol/platform...that being BlueSky. :)

No problem!

They are all relatively small - potentially smaller than the Fediverse (Mastodon, kbin, lemmy and friends) but will play an important role in the future. I mean, you are here on Nostr - so you probably have seen some of the amazing things that an open protocol like this can do! :)
