why don't clients use the Bitcoin logo for zaps instead of the ⚡ lightning?

Why should they ?
it's more recognizable, very few people associate ⚡ with Bitcoin but the ₿ is known by almost everyone in the world by now
In my experience bitcoin is a turnoff for people who associate it with crypto scams. I think it’s advantageous if they make ten payments and only then realize it’s bitcoin
if you do onchain you put Bitcoin 😅
The sats symbol debate was interesting. I liked the döner kebab. More recognizable at 16 pixel. I think that's where symbols beat logos.
