#asknostr can someone briefly explain eNuts?
Discussion
Well, Iβm not an expert π
#eNuts is a #cashu wallet, and itβs for transfer #bitcoin , #cashu is a third layer solution over Lightning Network (I hope Iβm right)

Don't trigger Calle! More like a 2.5 layer if you define a new layer as needing to operate trustlessly.
But yeah, a chaumian ecash implemention using bitcoin (the missing ingredient when tried in the 90's with fiat).
eNuts can interact with cashu mints and manages the Ecash (nuts) you receive from them.
You can pay a lightning invoice to a mint and, in return, receive the same amount in Ecash. This Ecash can be sent and received without the mint being aware of your transactions.
Cash out your Ecash anytime back to your Lightning wallet or swap your Ecash between different mints.
If you want to receive Ecash, you have to trust the mint where the Ecash comes from. You trust it to cash out your funds back into your LN wallet when needed.
In the meantime, eNuts just takes care of your nuts while you are throwing them around or getting thrown by some.
