I think it was a legit hack. The SEC twitter account also liked some random crypto accounts replies, something that definetly would not have happened if this was just a scheduling issue.

Or was it simply the SEC, posting some "spam" to make it look like a hack, to help cover the mistake?

Remember--the governments are masters at deflection and propaganda...
