Took an Englishman to make it and the the Americans broke it!
British subjects, but most of the founding fathers were born in the colonies, including Washington who was born in Virginia and had never even been to Europe.
The English didn’t “make” America, they just took over what was already there.
Even the name itself is Italian. 🤌
