Inflation isn’t ‘prices’ going up, it’s the purchasing power of the dollar going down.
Today we no longer use money, we use currency instead and as more units of currency flood the system each unit holds less purchasing power.

I don’t understand how the dollar is worth anything. If it’s backed by the gold in Fort Knox and that gold has already been spent, several times over, then the dollar isn’t really worth any more or less than digital currency at this point.
That being the case, I would certainly rather invest in currency controlled by everyday citizens rather than a bunch of corporate pigs.😁
