A psychological consideration regarding political posts:
There is a one great point made by BAP, which I keep thinking about. It is with regards to posts showing injustice of our political regime with the intention to expose it, thus prove they are wrong/bad. Great intention.
Think video of imigrant gangs roaming the streets (his example) or covid stuff and whatever nonsense comes next.
Problem with this is, that such posts can demoralize, when they read as: "Look at this evil! They can get away with murder and there is almost nothing you can do!". Equivalent of this in meatspace conversation is the guy who alway brings up how bad things are.
This demoralizing sentiment, can promote fear, helplesness, and the idea that the enemy is strong. In a conflict you do not want to spread the idea that the enemy is strong and our side is weak! You want the oposite. You want to show that they suck and we are capable.
With this, I would like to encourage that you consider this psychogical effect, and whether or not you are helping the other side, unintentionally demotivating your people.
