My next phone. Also thinking of getting the suite for a new private number and not being hooked up to a carrier. Will GPS navigation work if you are not on a carrier?

Hmm, is there another solution?
Not yet. Chip companies may at some point start putting together their own phones. Or Motorola comes up with a decent phone. Till then we use big tech with knock off os. Best we got for now.
