I like to have logical arguments. If the fear is risk of decentralization. And the limiting factor is storage price. Then cheaper storage negates to issue.

15 years storage has gotten cheaper, but Bitcoin holds more transactions and the blocks still the same.

If they can afford these transaction fees wouldn't they be able to afford storage?

Everytime I think about this my mind always ends up at they just don't see base layer being usable by everyone as a priority. But then I'm confused because they say all other blockchains people could use are shit.

LN still requires base layer transactions and always will especially when your balance is lower and self custody on a phone.
