When I was younger, we spoke truth to power face to face and got rewarded with reprimands at work and by the state.

Now youths type bullshit into little screens to bullshitters online and get likes and attention from simps and hot-takers.

It’s just so different these days— I never thought I’d get old like this but I guess that’s how it happens 🤙

*fully aware speaking truth to power in person is harder and completely ineffective these days, not a criticism by comparison, just an observation
