I have to do the same. I get off, works for a few days, I go back. Dropping Facebook was like a 1 minute decision but Twitter... I'm weak!
Only thing I use Twitter for these days is occasionally catching up with people who haven't made the switch yet and tweeting stuff like Nostr onboarding guides and Bitcoin memes.
Can't spend more than five mins on there anymore since Nostr became my new home honestly.
I hear you. Tbh the only thing I use it for is to announce when I go live on Twitch or to tell people that they're stupid. The latter is kinda counterproductive. In short, Twitter brings out that negativity in me which doesn't happen on nostr. Amazing
For real. Nostr has positive vibes you just don't get on legacy social media.

I couldn't agree more. Funny how you've mentioned phpBB. I was comparing nostr to the old days on mIRC just the other day but yes, I miss some of the forums too.
For events like these it’s always about to ride the storm off. Eventually people forget and interest is gone. Same with everything else. We are so fast to just turn to the next thing.
I know right? That's why Governments, Banks and others keep getting away with their shenanigans too. They fuck us, we get upset, we forget and go back to work.
Either way it also shows us that people don't really have principals any more either. They keep complaining about the WEF and co on social media then they accept a WEF puppet as CEO on their social media platform of choice so their content can get censored or flagged by.. the WEF.
