I really don’t like weight lifting—it’s hard, I have to push myself, and take responsibility for how I look and feel, which is hard in and of itself.
However I do recognize that I almost always have a better mood, more motivation, and just a higher capacity to get shit done on the days that I do lift.
I don’t wanna be fat, weak, and unhealthy when I’m 40, so I’d rather just eat the frog now and just accept that it is hard work and there is no way around that.
You can either put yourself through some hard shit now or let life put you through some harder shit further down the line

Yep, just about choosing what kinda hard you want
you can't choose NOT to suffer, only how (and when) you suffer. actively and intentionally is always better than passively and unintentionally 💪🏼
