Then why wouldn’t it help servers, bartenders and valets?
Any tax decrease that I can get helps me. Why wouldn’t it be the same for someone earning tips?

It would help only the ones making lots of money. I don't wish to have the government pick and choose winners in society. That's sick.
95% of people earning under 30k have zero federal tax liability. 50k and less only pay an effective rate of about 1.8%. Really, they can't pay 700 bucks in taxes? That's assuming no kids either. With kids would get a rebate, not pay.
If I have to pay taxes, my businesses have to pay taxes, so should they. The progressive system is already disgusting. Let's not widen the gap of payors anymore.
