then they came for dns,

and i did not speak out—

because i memorized ip addresses.

then they came for ipv4,

and i did not speak out—

because ipv6 was the future.

then they came for tcp,

and i did not speak out—

because udp still worked.

then they came for the physical infrastructure,

and i did not speak out—

because i thought mesh networks would save us.

then they came for electricity,

and there was no internet left—

and no way to speak out at all.
