I partially disagree. If I had retired my father, he wouldn’t be as active as he is now, and he’d likely have suffered much less harm. At 80, he’s still working (in his own way) and rides his bike to shop. He told me himself: ‘You know why I’m still here? If you stop working, the problems start—blood pressure, heart issues, mental fog.’ However, if your parents are struggling financially or with work, then it’s the duty of a good child to offer help.
