I’m concerned to put any other apps on my node. For some reason it makes me nervous to introduce anything outside to my Bitcoin and lightning node.

Just set up my private #Nostr relay on my nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct node to sync with my public relays.
Worked like a charm 👌

I’m the same way lol. Have a dedicated BTC node and then my LN. once I upgrade the LN I’ll prob use that old RPI4 for the other cool Umbrel apps.
That’s where I’m at as well. Still trying to decide what I’m gonna use for my hardware. I need it to be portable. So a mini PC I guess but which one.
I’ve asked many people what they suggest for a mini PC and have had many pros cons. I’m too the point I have no idea. What’s your take on an upgraded hardware for node?

Lol was checking those out. Could piece your own together with same specs for about half price. I plan on just finding a used Thinkcentre with a decent i5 and upgrade ram if I have to with at least a 2TB drive.
