With Curaçao's recent enactment of VASP legislation, the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten (CBCS) is now permitted to serve as a custodian for virtual assets.
Should the Central Bank choose to obtain a Bitcoin quantity that corresponds to the population it serves, this would amount to approximately 700 BTC.
This estimate comes from taking the combined population of Curaçao (200,000) and St. Maarten (70,000), dividing it by the global population of 8 billion, and then multiplying by the total Bitcoin supply of 21 million.
