Pike fishing

Every Pike I have caught over the last few years (always ice fishing) is loaded with roe. So after a few bevies while filleting it I thought "seems a shame to give all this roe to the dog" so I got brave and carefully scraped the eggs out of the sac did a quick rinse and then about a half hour very strong salt brine and then rinse in a sieve. My wife and my buddy I was fishing with both think I'm crazy but the result was pretty damn tasty.
