I had to add the vendor as a contact in my bank app, verify my account because I was adding a new contact, send them the money with a security question and answer, and then wait 5 minutes for the money to settle before i could leave with my ice cream

The entire time I was thinking to myself - with lightning I could send him the money for the ice cream in 5 seconds and id be on my way

Another moment experiencing first hand how much more convenient the bitcoin and lightning network is and will be - humans naturally want a more convenience, and the least amount of friction possible
