If there is word that puts ants on me, it is “scale”. WTF. Growth can be a death knell for organic creative collaborative projects. I understand devs gotta get paid, so #grownostr has to have signal. But, in the bee world, if a hive gets too big, it has to be split, or it has to swarm, which is natural selection for the propagation of the species. Bigger, better, faster, more, isn’t any of those.

I think you might be right. I been looking at different countries around the world I'd like to move too. All the countries I've found are small. I'm interested in bigger countries but with the sacrifice of freedom. And higher taxes. And overall less quality of life
Its like once a country becomes too big, it just doesn't work. The only reason we have big countries around the world, is because people / society have artificially created parameters to force this un- natural configuration remaining.
In nature you've experienced a bee hive once it becomes too big will just separate and create a new hive dome where else.
I think the same applies to group. When a group or organisation becomes too big it stops working as efficiently.
