Why cause the hack? Its just for setting up temporary bolt12 codes for the event
It has to be bolt12? I was going to suggest Minibits if you just need a Lightning address and a way to send and receive sats.
Embarrassingly, I don't have a working node at the moment to run minibits. We also wanted to have simple multi-user access during the event so theres no need to have a dedicated device.
But yes also needed bolt12 because we have a few things that need static scannable qr codes
Hmm…you don’t need a node to use Minibits. You might be thinking of LNbits. Minibits is a standalone app that uses Cashu and Lightning and has a Lightning address. Not sure how what other features you need without a description of the game.
