Hope you’re right. I tweeted today, making careful effort not to dox the person, about a close family friend who worked very high up in a very prominent progressive Congress person’s staff and now works for Kamala. This person is highly educated, super smart, and millennial. I’ve spoken with her about BTC and crypto multiple times, including with a close personal friend of mine who works in crypto VC, and the response every time has been polite, but slightly condescending, dismissal. Zero interest, zero knowledge, treated us like we were talking about a Pokémon card collection. Most recent convo was immediately after SAB 121 sitch. Obviously not representative of the dem party as a whole, but has kept me pretty discouraged about meaningful vibe changes on the left. I would absolutely love to be wrong and hope that I will be in due time.

Yeah I mean it’s not a top 10 voting issue they need to worry about in this election, so that’s the challenge. I think chuck Schumer and other Dems are just getting tired of not moving forward on this issue though.

I think in due time we’ll see that shift and all can move on lol. (Whether Kamala and Warren like it or not).

The only thing I’m worried about is more the three letter agencies and any “emergencies” they’d like to pronounce to take away bitcoin rights. Congress and admin I’m less worried about for any extreme moves atm

Yeah def agrees on all that. Certainly Kamala feeling no urgency right now with the polls leaning her way to take a position that would put her in open opposition with influential corners of the party. But like you say, hopefully enough Dems come around over time to make it less politically charged and more of a consensus good directional move.
