Yeah I recall. But it’s not you censoring, it’s the user and only if they select it.

People argued it was still useful as a way to signal liked posts to other people, even if the person receiving it could not see it. I found that argument good enough to restore it.
I can see both sides. I guess if people are used to likes it’s harder to change the perceptive of not having it. It’s hard to unlearn something that is so ingrained in people’s daily way of interacting with social media
