Plebs.app looks good but again, why do I need to be logged in to zap? we talk about all the pains of legacy web but then we do the same mistakes. want to zap? login or create a nostr account. want to zap? connect your NWC wallet. LN doesn't need Nostr to work.

Without Nostr it’s not a “zap”. It also requires login in order to register the zap across Nostr in order to know who paid, when, and what. You need a Nostr “account” in order to sign the zap. Plebs isn’t built using a centralized server like every other Nostr app. Nostr is the database.

zap.stream allows to "zap" without being logged in. Yes it's not a "zap" whatever but you don't need Nostr to send money, you also don't need to know who sent money.

That’s cool. Plebs is not built like zap.stream and we record the Nostr zaps as part of how Plebs operates for aggregating trending content, and for content creator’s analytics, and more. But no one is caring who it’s actually sent by, simply that the signed zap (kinds 9734/9735) is sent through Nostr. If you’re that worried you can just use ephemeral keypair through account creation and go from there.

I understand that, I'm not worried about privacy aspect I just didn't want to create a dummy account just to zap if i see a cool vid and I think LN payments on web apps should be as frictionless as possible. Either way good job, the app looks really good and well made. Congrats and thanks for your work.
