My mom buys another windows laptop....ew..so I quit out of OneDrive because also eww....and go to use smb to copy things locally...but wait!!! I can't!!! None of the files exist on her old computer, just links, so the copy dialogue says something along the lines of "cloud provider not running"

So I'm sitting here watching the files copy over the Internet, relying on the speed of their WAN.

What the actual fuck is this ...
