That’s about a 575lb blonde Black Bear looking back at me in the bush today. The landowner told me I’m one of the few people that has ever spotted it on anything other than a game camera. The people that live on that road call it the “ghost bear”. I’ve never seen such a beautifully colored coat. It was the color of coffee with 2 creams in it. Super rare.
Huh - I always thought a bear would find the topic of their weight to be kinda offensive.

Yeah that’s how I got him to stop and look back at me. I whistled and yelled “Hey fatass!” Then quickly hopped back in my truck before he came back to swat the head off my shoulders.
