the point stands, there is no known inflation bugs in monero. the supply is verifiable.

bitcoin had inflation bugs before IIRC. hasn't been exploited either tho.

while only coinbase transaction amounts are visible in monero, the other transactions carry a ZKP that shows no new coins are created in the tx.
