Error handling is basically the same as everything else computer programming - 50% plumbing and 50% logic - and it's hugely important. Coding can be like cooking, error handling feels like peeling a ton of shallots with papery thin skin that gets under the nails. It's essential for the banquet but my brain rebels given the slightest distraction.

There are, no doubt, given the strangeness and myriad people out there, those who like peeling shallots but hate cooking. I'd like to meet someone who loves error handling coding but hates general programming. I hope they are well paid, it's more skillful than peeling shallots, but I'd also like to check they're human. Also a good legend for a James Bond or Marvel baddie - the 'error handler'.
