Working with QA is so frustrating. Especially when you see bugs coming back after a new build—or UI/UX issues that are just relegated to a backlog forever.

I’m not sure where’s the weakest link in the company I work for. Is it the developers? The lack of clear processes and guides? The fact that development is conducted in different sites (US and Europe) by teams working in different time zones? I don’t know, but it’s a constant frustration

In my experience, as a dev, most often we want to fix everything but someone over us in the hierarchy decides that something else is of higher priority and we never get time to fix the bug. It’s an anti pattern for sure but it still happens.

Yes, good point, there’s also the political aspect. Usually high management setting extremely tight deadlines or different priorities—which makes the whole work cumbersome. Maybe they should focus more on customer experience and less in pleasing the big shots (stakeholders)
