Yes there is a clear will from the core dev to facilitate non monetary transactions. You’re drowning in denial. What you call maxi purity (thanks for the compliment btw) is just bitcoin’s healthy culture. We only get one chance, it’s too late now, we have bitcoin, it’s a treasure, our only hope. If there ever was a hill worth dying upon is this one. Bitcoin is money. Fight the spammers, run a strict node policy, home mine, earn/stack/spend stats as much as you can. But do not worry, they made a whole industry for people like you, it’s called crypto. You are not alone.

Like I already told you, Knots does nothing to prevent those JPEGS from being added to blocks. Your Knots nodes stores all the same “spam” s Core node does.

You’re just living in a delusion/

No need to repeat yourself. Understand that it’s also about calling out Core and stopping their monopoly. Knots is not the end. It’s a step in the right direction. Spam will always be an issue, and we have to counter it at every step. That’s it. Like miner centralization, we tackle it with ocean mining for instance. We don’t give up.

1. There’s no Core “monopoly.” People use it cause they trust it, not because they’re forced to. Knots is literally a fork of Core.

2. Filtering WORSENS mining centralization. You are causing the problem you claim to be solving, aka hypocrisy.

3. Knots is a step in the WRONG direction. Not just because filtering is stupid, but because it’s literally a dictatorship run by Luke, who has a long history of erratic behavior. Do you recall when he wanted to change Bitcoin’s POW algorithm from SHA-256? Remember when he couldn’t even keep his own private keys safe?
