Platitudes like that don't help.

War is not insanity. Russians from rich to poor have the potential to benefit tremendously from their invasion. They get to steal land and resources, expand their empire, and in the process, the soldiers get paid very good wages.

If it weren't for Ukraine's heroic efforts resisting them, Russia's invasion would have been extremely profitable.

War is not "insane". It's good business. That's why we need to exterminate the aggressors who started this violence to change that cost benefit analysis and make it unprofitable.

Yeah, this thought that they invaded has nothing to do with the "collective west" using NATO to move installations closer to Russias borders is new to me.

People like things to be clear, but they seldom are.

If you only see a situation from the moment you like to start viewing or are shown it, is easy to judge.

Trying to go beyond that point and see what could have caused things to escalate at that point, means you have to put in time, critical thinking, and probably come to an unclear situation or even a conclusion you don't like.

Most Humans are easy to manipulate, and than some, but admitting that, or being wrong, and than some, is not easy.

But everyone has to ho there before they can start changing.

"NATO expansion" argument invented to satisfy certain western public. ukraine-russia conflict existed long before NATO was created.
