My new amp. 😍⚡️🎸
It's an old Philco tube radio 📻 (circa 1950) restored and repurposed as a guitar amplifier.

I did an intensive restoration on the Philco, inside and out and I'm really pleased with the result.

The process of converting an old radio into an amplifier is laborious and dangerous.
These old radios were known as widow makers as they allow the entire house voltage ⚡️ to sit on the chassis. No big until you complete the circuit via your guitar strings!
She is now electrically safe. She is also touch sensitive and kicks out saturated distortion when pushed. I ❤️ her very much.
