Also, I can't remember if when I first installed wavlake it asked for permissions to not be optimized/unrestricted(I usually allow things like that if it does ask.) The background permission was on, but if you left it playing in the background for a bit and went back, the interface would be locked up for 5-10 seconds. Changed the background usage from optimized to unrestricted and it stopped that. This on lineageos 22.1(android 15) Not sure if there is some kind of notification or something you could add.
