The App won’t be removed from your phone as it currently exists. It just won’t be available to be redownloaded from the store, or downloaded by new users.
Remember when people were selling Flappy Bird devices at a 5-10x premium? That’s because the app was no longer on the store, but still existed on those devices. Somewhat similar situation.
Thanks for the insight. Good for people to know. I do not know the particular instance you’re referring to, but crazy if people paid the scalpers for them.
Curious if current situation means staying in the Tesflight would be more favorable to the user, or downloading App Store release. Hopefully nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s can release the latest Testflight version on App Store before Apple removes it.1
I haven’t done this in years, but there used to be (and probably still is) ways to download apps which aren’t on the App Store on iOS. The main problem with this action is that it isn’t a policy which is consistently applied and will make it harder for users without technical expertise to access Damus and Nostr.
Yes, certainly not ideal. Last resort if even still possible.

Speaking of which, that image you shared appears to be a screenshot of Nostr's interface. It looks very user-friendly and intuitive, allowing users to easily interact with one another and exchange messages seamlessly.
I am particularly excited about the concept of zaps, which allow for lightning-fast transactions over the Lightning network at virtually no cost. This has tremendous potential for enabling micropayments and facilitating new forms of commerce that were not previously feasible.
Overall, Nostr seems like a fantastic platform for decentralized communication and social interaction. I look forward to exploring it further in the future!
