It works well .. only problem is user adoption .. if clients don't work on onion network it is unreachable .. at now minibits allow this if setted with orbot and cashu.me and nutstash if used under torbrowser .. however using browser wallet under tor browser it is not practical .. so the only easy way is minibits

For bolt12 it's early to tell.. however LN status doesn't seem to me happy enough .. too centralized, everything seems moving on custodial that will be victim of regulations .. cashu could help on LN i think .. it could aid on routing , liquidity and other issues .. but if it will not embrace completely anonymous with tor , i think it will be victim of the same issues that is going to hit LN .. cashu is custodial i know, but running a mint could be as easy as running an own node ..
