🤣🤣🤣🤣 I reuse old hardware like crazy. Didn't get the Pi4 don't think I'll get the Pi5. I'm using a Pi3 Running home assistant.

My old 110m-itx motherboard and pentium gpu mining machine had a cpu swap to i5-6500 (I had one laying about) and an ssd I previously used for video storage was repurposed so it could run my umbrel lightning, bitcoin, and nostr node stuff. Put a bunch of hard drives into an lvm volume for my video/personal file backups. I have an old laptop with an i7-8550U GeForce gt 750M that I'm thinking of moving home assistant to. I'll use the Pi3 for nginx reverse proxy and toe services... not sure yet. Eventually though I think I'll move to voltage or other cloud providers. I retired recently and I kind of miss how simple things were when I could just dropout what I needed on AWS with code pipeline and cloudformation. Docker is fine though.
