I would say, don't store it in a way people can decide. There is too much standard around. Go standardless

However…if it is common knowledge that bitcoiners don’t store their keys at home we keep ourselves safer from physical coercion.

Location is a trick but there are other ways apart from location. Old tech has been forgotten.

I built a punched tape storage based on existing tapes I found at the University in late 80's. It writes codes on a paper roll. I added a simple hardware bytes coder inverting bits and I bet no people with today tech will decode it.
