I'm still trying to figure out how to use a hardware wallet with a secure element, safely for Cold Storage.
Can you wipe those wallets and verify that the secure element has been wiped too?

Yeah, but if you’re really paranoid, if you’re no longer using it I’d destroy it.
First of all, I want to just be able to securely wipe it. Because you absolutely can't be sure that it doesn't contain a back door when it's proprietary and closed source. That's just security 101.
Secondly I want to be able to securely reuse it to create additional cold storage wallets with the same device. Or use it as a hot wallet for something like lightning, liquid or Zeus.
I'm not paranoid. I'm just a security expert..🧡😊
