The Worldwide Cost of Living survey by EIU shows that cities in Latin America have become significantly more expensive for foreigners over the past two years, with Mexico City being among the biggest climbers. This is partly due to a stronger Mexican peso against the American dollar and inflation in some parts of the region being tamed, while others remain high.
